9 year old to feature in Aamir Khan’s home production

Aamir Khan seems to have a knack for working with young kids. After his successful performance with Darsheel in Taare Zameein Par he has now roped in Parul for his home production, The Falling, directed by Anushka Rizvi

Parul, who is a local from Muzzafarpur, Bihar got a role in the film after
Aamir watched her perform in a stage play. His home production is based on the
issue of farmers’ suicide will have Parul in the role of a farmer’s daughter.

A source reveals, “Last year, during a trip to Delhi, Aamir watched her in a
play and was highly impressed. Parul has worked under the guidance of acclaimed
theatre stalwart Habib Tanwar. Aamir was looking for young talent for The
Falling and decided that Parul was right for his film.”

Parul has not only won national acclaim but has also travelled to Germany and
other European nations as a part of her theatre group’s tours. A source reveals,
“Parul has a lengthy role in the movie and Aamir is thrilled that he found a
talent like her for the film. She has already started shooting for The Falling
