Amisha Patel is refused to do bold scenes opposite
Leander Paes.
She has developed cold feet and dumped the film; she has no interest in
acting in it anymore supposedly because it has many bold scenes in it.
Most importantly, she was required to play a flirtatious woman, who
would do just about anything for money. So, the role was too brash for
Amisha’s comfort.
Amisha spoke to the director, who understood her point of view and agreed to let her go.
When contacted, Amisha Patel said, “No, I am not doing the film anymore.”

Deepika Padukone is aggressively sexing up her own act. She will feature in the title track of Rohan Sippy’s, Dum Maro Dum.
The song, Dum Maro Dum, was a smash hit in Hare Rama Hare Krishna (1971), featuring Dev Anand and Zeenat Aman.
The song is being re-worked by Pritam and will have Jaideep Sahni’s
lyrics. So we can expect another cool number coming on its way.

Sajid Nadiadwala is coming up with a sequel,
Housefull 2.

Bollywood actress
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have again started making the rounds. The rumors, this time are related to her pregnancy not in India but in Dubai.
Ash had some interviews scheduled in Dubai, but they were cancelled
at the last moment leading to speculation among the small community of
Indian journalists in the Middle East.
“Unless it is a case of dodgy Indian curries that is slowly but
surely emanating, the rumor mills are grinding to grist the possibility
of a classic Ash diva tantrum because she is pregnant,” quoted the local
newspaper in Dubai.
Sources had informed the newspaper that Ash was not well and hence
had cancelled the said interviews. This is not the first time that the
buzz about her pregnancy has reached us.
After all, their marriage was the biggest ever in Bollywood and when
the Bachchans will confirm any such news it would surely be the biggest
one, too. We should leave the couple alone and give them the benefit of
doubt and the honor to make the announcement themselves.

Sharman Joshi is one Bollywood actor, who has been appreciated for his acting talent in various films like
Rang De Basanti,
Golmaal and
3 Idiots
but till today he has only appeared in multi-hero movies. Sharman has
excelled as one of those other lead actors but has never been approached
with a lead role.
Now, the actor for the first time is offered a lead role by the 3
Idiots maker Vidhu Vinod Chopra. He has shown faith in Sharman and
offered him to be the lead hero in his next project
Ferrari Ki Sawari.
The movie was in the news few days back because of the rumor that
legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar will be acting in it. It was widely
reported in media that Vidhu Vinod, who is a close friend of Sachin,
has convinced the cricketer to act in his movie. However, Tendulkar
later cleared the air saying that he is not interested in acting in
movies and want to concentrate on his game only.
Now, Sharman Joshi has been lucky to get the lead role in such a
renowned filmmaker’s movie. Vinod Chopra has shown his faith by signing
Sharman and now it’s the turn of the actor to prove that he can do well
as a lead hero also.
Sharman, whose last film Allah Ke Bandey released last week, has
shown a quite different side of him in this movie. Hope, his Ferrari ki
Sawari turns out to be a happy and succefull journey too!
Vinod will start shooting for the movie in next February and is planning to release in 2012.

Sonali Bendre
lost track of her car when she went to attend an event in the recent
past. According to reports in the media, Sonali Bendre visited a hotel
in Mumbai to attend an event when she lost sight of her car and her
driver!.
What followed was a trauma for the actress and her aides who
reportedly went on a search for the lost car, searching every nook and
corner from the Marine Drive to the Churchgate area in Mumbai.
Media reports claim that Sonali Bendre first called her driver at the
end of the event, but since his mobile network was unavailable, the
actress herself decided to search for her car in the parking space of
the hotel in Mumbai. However, the long search ended in futility. Neither
the car nor the driver were to be seen anywhere, convincing the actress
that her driver had stolen her car which was worth crores of rupees.
And just when Sonali Bendre returned to the hotel premises to call
the police, then she sees standing on the hotel steps is her driver,
completely unaware of the trauma his employer had to go through for the
past couple of hours! Last heard, Sonali Bendre’s driver had dozed off
inside the car, not realizing that his mobile phone was also switched
off when he was busy enjoying his slumber.
The incident was indeed hilarious but we still do not know whether
the Bollywood beauty had the spunk to laugh over it after fearing a car
loss for more than an hour!.

Shahrukh Khan and
Aamir Khan are two of the most popular Khans who are loved and adored by thousands of fans.
However, as they say there cannot be two rulers in one kingdom, so
the fight for the ultimate title has always been quite an issue with

that both the stars are to do projects with International directors
that too, both will be working on projects that deal with the basic
storyline of the city of Mumbai.
Shahrukh Khan is to do a project with Danny Boyle, who is scheduled
to adapt Suketu Mehta’s ‘Maximum City’, a novel which is very popular.
Aamir Khan with director Paul Schrader, is to adapt ‘Ex-Treme City’ for
producer Anubhav Sinha, which will be based in Dharavi, a slum area of
Mumbai.
Now the argument that is going around is that will these two stars be
able to deliver something different on the same subject? There is a
group that feels that Mumbai is such a city with so much diversity that
no two films made on the subject of this city’s life can be the same.
Others feel that with the city of Mumbai having a somewhat same flavor,
there is not much of a chance to have different flavors in the two
films.
With movies like ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and the just to be released
‘Dhobi Ghat’ which are both based on the city of Mumbai, albeit with
different angles, it is somewhat being expected that a lot is still to
be explored about this city, and hopefully Shahrukh’s and Aamir’s
International projects on Mumbai will do the needful.

is reportedly playing the role of an individual with split personality.
Buzz is that she plays the daughter of the commissioner of the police

The after effects of this disorder are so grave that for 10 minutes
every day she turns completely violent and sets out to kill her poor
husband. During one such fit, she reportedly runs after Anil with a
sword and fights to take his life as he tries to defend himself with
anything and everything that he can get hold of!
Whats more interesting is that she got a good practice run for actual
sword fighting which she is supposed to do in her own movie on the
lines of
Jhansi ki rani,

Sonakshi Sinha performed on the song ,
‘Munni Badnam Hui’ from the film
‘Dabangg’ at the recently held
Sahara India Sports Awards 2010 and the very fact did not go well with the main performer
Malaika Arora Khan.
Ever since the film hit the theatre and the song tops the
chartbuster, Malaika has been performing on the popular track during all
the events. But when Sonakshi performed the song at the Sahara awards
with the same thrill, she was bit upset.
This was Sonakshi’s first stage performance and so everyone applauded
her. According to Malaika, Sonakshi could have performed on some other
tracks rather than her’s. However, the organizer did not approach
Malaika for this event.
The award ceremony will see many top-notch actors performing on some chartbusters and Shahrukh Khan will be hosting the show.

in lashing out her anger at those who misbehaved with her on Thursday
evening, at an event organised by an NGO ironically on combating
terrorism on the occasion of 26/11 anniversary!
Clarifying that the miscreants weren’t her fans but ‘media persons
and their cameramen’, Sonakshi revealed on a micro blogging site, “Guys
thanks for your concern, but I am fine! I didn’t cry and am definitely
NOT traumatized, just majorly pissed off with the behavior of certain
people.
The actress was shocked when few boys managed to get too close to
her and even touched her on her arms and shoulder while she was
leaving, before she was whisked away by her security.
Disclosing the identity of miscreants Sonakshi added, “It was
conveniently omitted that the ‘miscreants’ happened to be media persons
and their cameramen!”

A little girl was surely in for a surprise as her favorite actress
Katrina Kaif not only spoke to her at length but also gave her a pack of cinnabons that are her absolute favorite.
Recently while Katrina was leaving to Bangkok for an ad shoot she
was approached by a little girl accompanied by her mother –she didn’t
want her to leave empty handed and hence gave her the sugar treat she
had carried along.
Says an eye witness “The girl barely 5 yrs old started throwing a
tantrum and insisted on having Katrina Kaif’s signature Barbie that was
recently launched after having watched some footage on television. She
went upto Katrina and asked if she could have the doll….unfortunately
since Katrina didn’t have one on her and didn’t want to send the girl
empty handed either gave her a pack of cinnabons she was carrying”.

Sanjay Dutt did not have his Rolls Royce Ghost delivered yesterday,
as the date happened to be 26/11, an extremely dark day in the history
of Mumbai.
The actor decided to collect the car a day later. He decided to gift
the car to Manyata after she delivered their twins. Sanju changed his
mind at the last moment because he did not want to celebrate on a day of
mourning for the rest of the country.
His manager Dharma Oberoi confirmed the news and said,
“Today is 26/11 and Dutt wouldn’t want to celebrate on such a day.”

Hrithik Roshan, who was hospitalized for an allergic reaction to an
antibiotic medicine, has returned home but has not allowed his sons to
see him.
“They’d get so scared if they saw me like this. Though my lips are going
back to their normal size, they’re still not fully normal. I don’t want
my sons to see me until I look like myself again,” said Hrithik.
The actor, who is married to Sussanne, has two sons – Hrehaan, 4, and Hridaan, 2.
“This kind of attack happens in the rarest of rare cases. But it
happened to me. Anything could’ve happened if I hadn’t rushed to the
hospital,” said the actor who was rushed to the hospital Sunday and was discharged on Monday.
“I was driving to a friend’s funeral when the attack suddenly happened. It just makes you so grateful for the gift of life.”
The 36-year-old had gotten so frightened that he had checked into the hospital alone.
“It was crazy! I’d have been frightened to death at what I saw in
the mirror. Within minutes my lips had swollen to 10 times the normal
size. Luckily for me, even in that shocking state, I remembered Eddie
Murphy in a film where his lips had swollen to monstrous proportions
because of an allergy. So I knew it wasn’t fatal,” he said.
Hrithik was immediately able to identify that it was an allergy caused by a new antibiotic he had taken half-an-hour earlier.
“That was the only alien substance introduced in my body. I told
my doctors about it. And they were immediately able to locate the source
of allergy. Such violent allergy attacks usually happen in the West
after eating prawns.
“I must be the only person in the universe to get so sick after
taking an antibiotic pill,” said the actor who has earned rave reviews
for his performance as paraplegic patient in “Guzaarish”.
Hrithik is overwhelmed by the response to his performance in “Guzaarish”.
“I guess this (the hospitalization) was god’s way of balancing
things out. I was getting much love for my performance it had to be
counter-balanced.”
“Guzaarish” has taken Hrithik to new heights of self-realization.
“How can one not be affected when you meet these people who are
paralyzed for life? Their spirit and joie de vivre just overwhelms you.
I’ll always be grateful to Sanjay Bhansali for giving me the opportunity
to do this film.”
“‘Guzaarish’ is a different scale and space. The closest I’ve been
to this space is ‘Jodhaa-Akbar’. It’s an entirely different experience
when you know you’re affecting lives beyond entertainment.”

The Dabangg actress was in for a rude shock on Thursday evening, when
a group of boys walked up too close to her and tried to misbehave.
The incident has left the actress quite shaken up. It happened at the
Gandhi garden near Mantralaya in South Mumbai, where three NGOs from
the city paid tribute to those who lost their lives during the 26/11
carnage two years ago.
Sonakshi’s bouncers immediately rushed her out of the premises to a
safety zone. She was immediately tucked into her car that sped away in
no time. They say Sonakshi was in tears when she eventually got into her
car.
An eyewitness told Mumbai Mirror,
“The miscreants were too brash
and rowdy. They came too close to Sonakshi. Everything was fine when
Sonakshi entered the premises at 4.25 pm. She sat through the event for
an hour. It was only when she got up to leave that the scene turned
ugly.
Explaining chronologically, the witness said,
“Sonakshi was
quietly leaving the event around 5.30 pm when suddenly a large group of
people began following her. Most of these people seemed to be her fans,
but a few miscreants who had been lurking around all this while, cut
throught he crowd to reach her.”
Sensing a big crowd behind her, Sonakshi apparently hastened her
strides but the mob was relentless. While saying things like ‘Idhar
dekho na, hamse baat karo na’, some of those guys walked up to her and
touched her on her arms and shoulder. Added the witness, “Their
behaviour was disgusting and that too at an event where the police
bandobast was at its best.”
While Sonakshi remained unavailable for comment, her manager said,
“The
mob’s behaviour was simply unacceptable. They created a big ruckus,
completely disrespecting the speakers on stage. They even fell over and
hit each other.”

The Shiv Sena only needs an excuse to attack Bollywood Stars. This time it is Shahrukh Khan targeted.
News is that, SRK has been severely criticized for agreeing to
perform at a function for a Pakistani TV channel on the second
anniversary of the 26/11 terror strike in Mumbai.
But SRK’s office in Mumbai claims that the superstar hasn’t taken on
any such assignment and that he is presently shooting for Farhan
Akhtar’s film Don 2 in Berlin, Germany.
However, the scathing editorial in Saamna said that SRK lived in
India, worked in Mumbai, constructed “a palace” (Mannat Bungalow in
Bandra) in Mumbai but agreed to do a song-and-dance for a Pakistani TV
channel in London, ostensibly to help the victims of the recent floods
there.
Earlier this year too, the Shiv Sena had targeted SRK for his comment
favoring the inclusion of Pak cricketers in IPL tournament.

Last Sunday’s KWK having Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor as Karans guest seems to have cost him a bit.
The ladies, did everything possible to show Ranbir Kapoor down. As a
result, daddy Rishi Kapoor reportedly went all out against the two girls
as well as Karan Johar.
Disgusted at their behaviour, Kapoor conveyed to Deepika and Sonam
that they should have shown some class. He also declared that he would
think twice before working with Karan again.
But it seems mommy Neetu Singh believes in ahimsa. Reema Jain and she
are apparently on the sets of Karan’s home production Short Term Shaadi
in Las Vegas.
Although Karan is not present at the sets of this Imran Khan-Kareena
Kapoor starrer, Neetu’s and Reema’s presence there may definitely raise
eyebrows.
Has Neetu taken the first step towards reconciliation? Or is it just
because Rima’s son Armaan is working as an assistant on the film? We’ll
wait and see.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is not in
Madhur’s next- Speculations about Madhur Bhandarkar’s cast in his ambitious project ‘Heroine’ are at a full swing.
If rumors were to be believed, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan too has been
thought for the meaty role.The buzz is that the Bachchan bahu was
interested in the project given that certain ploy are curbed, like the
love making scenes.
However, as far evidences go, Madhur is not a kind of director who
would surrender to the whims and fancies of his heroines. And so is the
truth. The realistic filmaker has slammed all allegations and rumors of
having roped in Ash in the project.

Karishma Kapoor and

paradise. Their marital discord has been making news for quite a long
time and now things are quite vivid that their marriage life is truly

Allah Ke Bandey is another Friday release of this week which is
directed by yet another debutant director Farouque Kabir, the man who
assisted director Rajiv Rai in 2001 movie Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat. In
this era of romance and comedy, the first time director has tried his
hand on a very serious but burning topic.
The film deals with the story of two 12-year-old boys living in the
slums. They aspire to become famous in the world of crime and get
involved in looting people and delivering drugs for the Mafia. However,
they end up being wrongly convicted for a murder case and this reach the
Juvenile Reformatory. Here, life turns hell for the duo as the senior
inmates torture them with all possible cruelty and they do it with the
participation and permission of the Juvenile warden.
The free spirits of Vijay (played by Sharman Joshi) and Yakub
(Faruque Kabir) are not to bow down in front of all these tortures and
they grow up nursing a dream of becoming the ruler of the slums where
they lived. Their criminal obsession also increases with time and they
form a group of all teenage boys to fulfill their dream.
However, every evil has its end and so they would have but their
salvation comes at the cost of a high price! You need to watch the movie
to know the climax. It is not a usual entertaining flick but it strikes
somewhere on the hard reality.

Break Ke Baad: It’s genuinely a love story with some added fun elements.

With a promise of entertaining the youth, debutant director Danish
Aslam tries to offer you an old story with some new twists and turns
incorporated in it. However, you will enjoy the chemistry between the
two young leads Imran Khan as Abhay and Deepika Padukone as Aaliya. They
are childhood sweethearts, who share their first kiss when they watch
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai for the third time. So, it’s genuinely a love story
but with some added fun elements.
Aaliya is ambitious, gorgeous and stubborn while Abhay is aimless in
his life. For Aaliya, love is not everything and wants to be a renowned
actress. But they can’t stay without each other even when they fight.
You must have seen her saying ‘Main Shah Rukh Khan hu’ during the promos
and that is one funny seen where she is totally drunk. Even though, she
is insensitive sometimes but knows Abhay is the strong pillar of her
life.
To fulfill her ambition, Aaliya leaves for Australia and Abhay
follows her. Here, you can see some funny but confusing scenes between
them. Finally, Lillette Dubey enters the scene and she does not mind
calling Aalia ‘chudail’ even when she has divorced thrice in her own
life.
It has a soulful music and a story that youth can relate to. So, it’s
not a bad idea to watch the movie during this weekend with friends!

Rani Mukherjee who will be soon seen in the film No One Killed Jessica
has managed to create quite a ruckus with the Censor Board due to a
certain action of hers in one of the scenes of the film where she
gestures with her middle finger pointing upwards.
This act according to the censors is quite an indecent, inappropriate
and inept gesture and will be seen as an offensive one. Thus to avoid
any further speculations about the scene, the board has given the
statement that it is not apt for family viewing if this obscene gesture
stays is not censored.
However, director Raj Kumar Gupta has expressed disappointment with
the order saying that the scene where Rani Mukherjee is seen walking in
the office corridors with this finger gesture was quite crucial for the
film’s plot. He felt that this blurring of the image would lessen the
impact of the scene.
The film has Vidya Balan essaying the role of Jessica and Rani
Mukherjee in the role of her lawyer. The realistic film based on actual
facts has been quite in the news ever since it went on the floors.
Rani Mukherjee has enacted the role of a lawyer with utmost
perfection, but she still faces the wrath from several sources due to
her puffing in the film along with the foul language that she has used

It is now proved that Manisha Koirala has some major issues with husband Samrat Dahal. She moved to her parents’ place few days before she put up her marriage status on Facebook.
It proves that trouble is really brewing in Manisha’s marriage. In
her Facebook, she posted that she wants divorce from Samrat. But after a
moment, she deleted it.
A source reveals, “Manisha had already moved out of her house with
Samrat (Dahal) days before putting up the post on the social networking
site. She was living with her parents in Kathmandu and had told them she
had some issues with Samrat.”
When enquired about what made Manisha to move to her parents’ place, a
close friend of the actress revealed that she had viral fever and since
Samrat is out of the town, she did not want to be left alone and so
moved to her parents’ home.
Manisha is presently in Goa for the film festival. Former politician
and Manisha’s father Prakash Koirala moved out in support of his
daughter and denied any problem between his daughter and son-in-law.

It has been almost two months since ‘Bigg Boss 4‘
started on Colors. Since then, the reality show has been hitting
headlines mostly for the wrong reasons. The latest in that line is a
case filed against the superstar host Salman Khan.
Interestingly, the case that has been filed by a lawyer named Anoop
Kaushik from Aligarh who targeted the Bollywood star saying that he is
hosting a vulgar and obscene show. Well, we understood the point when
the case was filed against the programme’s content, the channel,
director and the producer but it sounds little unrealistic to slam
Salman for that reason.
The viewers, who have been watching the show regularly, can vouch for
Salman’s gentleman act and his very decent gestures towards the
contestants as well as the viewers. Even when a hot Hollywood star like
Pamela Anderson came as a guest in the Bigg Boss house, Salman was very
graceful and in his usual funny mode. The viewers never got to see him
turning vulgar or performing any obscene acts.
Similarly, Shweta Tiwari and Samir Soni were also cited in the case
but they were hardly seen doing some vulgar acts. Well, while Dolly
Bindra was in the house, she instigated Shweta and Samir to use some
rough words but that was still tolerable than Veena Malik’s sensuous
acts.
The court will hear the case today and we hope justice is done the Salman Khan and other innocent house mates of Bigg Boss 4!

For Deepika Padukone, kissing on-screen is not a big deal and she is

In the movie, Deepika plays Aaliya and Imran plays Abhay. Both are

‘Baru-The Wonder Kid’. Releasing this October in theatres.
Baru-The Wonder Kid is the story of a twelve year old orphan boy,
BARU, & his courageous journey to free his sister, ANANNYA (fondly
called as ANI), from the clutches of the Devil Prince- ZUKAYU. Checkout

Jagjit Singh has dubbed for the voice of Dada ji, the narrator of
this story. Says he, “I really enjoyed it. This is the first time that I
have done something beyond singing. In any case I do enjoy working for
the kids. Dubbing dialogues was definitely fun and emoting the role of
dadaji was great.” According to the director Sachin Gote he himself had
put in a lot of initiatives to improvise.
He had finished dubbing within 3 hours. Says one of the producers,
Prabhakar Shukla, “we were dubbing in Amar haldipur ji’s studio. He has
shown some clippings of Baru to Jagjit Ji. Once he swa those he liked it
immensely. When I heard this I approached him. He had sung for my first
film Gudiya and knew me. He saw the full film, and was kind enough to
agree. He asked to be the narrator, saying that I know how grand fathers
speak. He asked for dialogues and did it as goodwill for kids. Did not
charge even a penny for the work.” Adds Vishnu Manohar, “his voice has
added so much of class to the character and the film.”
Besides Jagjit Ji, other artiste who have dubbed for ‘Baru- The
Wonder Kid’ are Sharad Kelkar, Vrajesh Hirjee and Nandu Madhav. Produced
by Vishnu Manohar & Prabhakar Shukla, it is directed by Sachin Gote
and is looking for October 2010 release. Its music is by Vivek Prakash,
Lyrics by Madan Pal and singers are Udit Narayan, Sadhna Sargam,
Vinod Rathore, Yashvir Prakash, Roli Prakash & Tanushree.

Shahrukh Khan
suddenly lost all interest from Twitter? After posting regular updates
on Twitter, Shahrukh Khan seems to have suddenly lost all interest in
the social networking site.
The superstar last posted his birthday pic on November 3 from Berlin
where he was shooting Farhan Akhtar’s film Don 2. When SRK did not tweet
for a whole week after that, it was obvious to presume that he was busy
with the film’s shoot.
But now that the star is back in Mumbai and has had a few days to
rest and relax as well, he did not post any new message on his Twitter
page! Is he losing interest, just like Aamir Khan who posted his last
tweet in August? Or is SRK just taking a sabbatical from social
networking on the net.
More than seven lakh followers could be disappointed if SRK decides to quit Twitter at this point.

Sanjay and Maanayata Dutt have finally named their twin babies. The boy is called Shahraan and the girl, Iqra.
The boy’s name comes from two words ‘Shah’ means ‘royal’ and ‘Raan’ is ‘knight’ or ‘warrior’. ‘Iqra’ means ‘to educate’.
The names were picked by Sanju and Maana when they’d gone on their Egyptian holiday a few months ago.
Shahraan is a Persian name while Iqra is a Hebrew one. The Dutts
wanted their boy’s first letter to start with the letter ‘S’ like Sanjay
Dutt and his father Sunil Dutt.
The source says, “So Shahraan will be known as Junior SD. Iqra and
Trishala (Sanju’s elder daughter from first wife Richa Sharma) sound in
rhythm with each other and were chosen accordingly.”

Remember how Aishwarya got the heat for the poster of her latest film Guzaarish
because it showed her smoking? It was thought to be irresponsible as
youth of today are easily impressed with stars. Well, the next in line
is Rani Mukherjee.
Her upcoming film ‘No One Killed Jessica’ is
garnering publicity not just because of the trailer, that certainly
makes you sit up and take notice, but more so because the promos show
her smoking. It’s strange because this isn’t the first time Rani has
smoked in a film; she did it before in Laaga Chunari Mein Daag where she
played an elite escort.
In this film, Rani plays a headstrong journalist who takes up the
cause of the murdered Jessica Lal. As part of her character
specification, she had to smoke on a few occasions. NGOs though aren’t
interested in the creative aspect of the character and letters have been
sent to the Health Ministry and censor board asking for the deletion of
scenes involving the actress smoking.

It is finally official. After much speculation as to who will be the female lead of the upcoming 3D film ‘Joker’ (Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi Sinha being the chief contenders), it is the Dabangg girl who has finally struck the chord with filmmaker Sirish Kunder.
Touted as the first 3D project in Bollywood, Joker has already
generated a lot of buzz not only for its content but also for the lead
pair of Akshay and Sonakshi. Director Sirish Kunder was searching for a
fresh pair for his upcoming movie and the Akshay Kumar – Sonakshi Sinha
jodi looked perfect, the director stressing on the fact that Sonakshi
also completely fits into the character as the female lead opposite
Akshay’s character.
Though titled Joker, the Akshay Kumar – Sonakshi Sinha starrer does
not tell the story of a joker in a circus. Neither is it the story of a
superhero, as was perceived by many after they heard that the film was
to be made in 3D. Akshay Kumar is not prepared to reveal details on the
plot yet and we as audience will also have to wait till next year to
catch a glimpse of Joker.
All that can be said now is that Sonakshi Sinha is gradually getting a
good grasp in Bollywood. After having worked with Salman Khan in her
debut film, Akshay Kumar as co-star in the second film itself is
something that many actresses will die for. The Dabangg girl too accepts
the fact, promising to improve with each film. Joker hits the screens
on Christmas next year.

Director Milan Luthria excited about the festival, and more so when it is remembered that one night during a shooting at CST, when everything was going wrong, he almost felt that the film will not be fulfilled. She saw him come through the theater – the first day, first show – his wife and the “boss” be greeted by a full house with Mahesh Bhatt.
He said, “First ceetie (CT) came from the boss” he says. Luthria Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi says he is planning another film with the film, will flag off after the dirty pictures. Vidya Balan starrer is driven by the bottom of the Actors ‘soft porn’ South, Silk Smitha. Producer Ekta Kapoor and screenplay writer with silver Aroraa Luthria was contacted, asking for their opinion. He said he was surprised that he wanted to direct the film.
“This woman is the object of desire which was created by millions of people happy. But what about her own happiness? Sex sells, but that’s the only reason I’m making the picture is not dirty,” he says. Vidya Balan did he choose?
“I need a powerhouse actor and a woman people find desirable, she admits she had reservations before, but not because she was afraid to show skin ..” It’s a hard game since the weight, bold lines, daring role they need to put on, view, a shocking attitude and plenty of depth.”

‘Dabangg’, Sonakshi Sinha will play
Akshay Kumar’s love interest in
‘Joker’.
This will be Shirish Kunder’s second film as a director. The first film
he directed was ‘Janemaan’ which doomed at the box office.
Shirish reasons for choosing Sonakshi, “Sonakshi fitted the role
perfectly. Hers is an extremely performance oriented character which is
there throughout the film with Akshay. Besides another reason for
choosing Sonakshi is the fact that she and Akki would be a fresh
on-screen pair considering Akshay has worked with most of the top
leading ladies.”
“The film will go on floors in January 2011 and will be released around Christmas the same year,” Kunder said.
‘Joker’ will be a 3D film. “It’s a tale of a bunch of underdogs
fighting for victory. There will be humour, some sci-fi and it will be
made in 3D,” he said. The film will reportedly directed by Akshay Kumar.

The year 2010 has been very eventful and busy for actress
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has delivered three big releases in the course of this year with each of them quite distinctive from the other.
Aishwariya has been exceptional in all these movies and this has
probably made her a candidate worth this year’s ‘Teacher’s People
Achiever Award’.
On Saturday, the 37-year-old actress was honored with this award at
Hotel Taj Lands End and she instantly dedicated it to her dad as a
birthday gift to him. Incidentally, it was the birthday of Aishwarya’s
father Krishnaraj Rai.
After receiving the award, the beautiful star of recently released
Guzaarish, said that she always had faith in her fans all over the
world. The ‘Bachchan bahu’ added that the award is special to her
because it is a people’s choice award.
Apart from Aishwarya, the Anjaana Anjaani hero Ranbir Kapoor was also
honored with the Teacher’s Achievement Award for Entertainment. Funny
man Boman Irani also bagged the achiever of the decade award. Veteran
actress Shabana Azmi received the lifetime achievement award.
This was the 10th edition of the Teacher’s Achievement Awards, which
initiated in the year 2001. The owner of Teacher’s brand- liquor company
Beam Global Spirits and Wine organizes the event every year.
This is just another feather added to the beauty queen Aishwarya
Rai’s crown this year. We hope this encourages her to perform better in
future and entertain us with more quality films.

Karan Johar may
have put them in the war field, but another director will bring peace
between them. We are talking about the two warring ladies
Deepika Padukone and
Katrina Kaif.
It was on the sets of ‘Koffee With Karan’ that Deepika spilt the
beans on the reason of her break-up with Ranbir Kapoor, indirectly
blaming a certain Katrina Kaif.
However, with the leggy lass moving forward in life, she is now
prepared to work with her rival too. And the man behind creating the
miracle is none other than Sajid Khan, who has reportedly received a
positive reply from both the heroines to star in his next film, a sequel
to the super hit Housefull.
Also joining the cast of the sequel are actors John Abraham, Paresh
Rawal and Nana Patekar. While lead actors Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh
and Arjun Rampal will be retained in the movie, the plot of the sequel
of Housefull has still not been revealed to the media. In fact, director
Sajid Khan is not even prepared to confirm the fact that Katrina Kaif
is part of his star cast. Probably the director does not want any
unwarranted attention before the shooting for his film commences.
The media, however, are already speculating on the situation which
may arise with two warring ladies on the sets of the Housefull sequel.
Moreover, Katrina Kaif has reportedly been given a more prominent role
in the film when compared to that of Deepika Padukone’s.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the beautiful nurse called Sofia in
Guzaarish
has to go through some very tough decisions in the movie. Guzaarish
sees Ash essaying the character of a very matured, confident and bold
nurse, who does not hesitate to sacrifice her life for the sake of love
and duty.
The movie will see her taking a bold step of taking all the
responsibility in her own hands to help her patient to go into a deep
sleep for good! In other words, she decides to grant Ethan her patient
the wish to end his life, even though that would mean she would be put
behind bars on charges of a severe crime.
The fact that her patient, Ethan Mascarenhas played by Hrithik Roshan
decides to end his life after fighting with a paralytic attack for
fourteen years is like a sudden shock to all connected with the
character Ethan. His doctor urges him not to punish himself, the court
orders the request to be rejected downright, but Sofia is the only
person who decides to give him relief from the pain and suffering. But
just before she helps in to end his sufferings, she gifts him one last
night of blissful love and hope.
Sofia’s decision to spend the last night with Ethan was more for the
love or for the duty is certainly hard to decide. The pathos and irony
of the entire climax of the movie certainly calls for some thought over
the distinction between love and duty.
However, the underlying current of deep pain just cannot be missed
out in the fact that life ends the moment one gets complete satisfaction
out of one’s circumstances. So watch the movie to see Sofia caught
between love and duty.
