She's delivered retro thrills with 'Action Replayy' and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is now sanguine of an optimistic response to her portrayal of Sofia in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Guzaarish.'
"When you see too many promos, you may feel that you've figured out the film," says Aishwarya in a media chat. "But when you see 'Guzaarish,' you'll realise that you can't predict what's going to happen next."
Her fine tuned telepathy with SLB has generated reams of newsprint in assorted periodicals. Expressing her take on the topic, ARB states, "Sanjay and I can communicate without words. I'd just look at Sanjay and he'd immediately understand what I wanted to say."
Elaborating further, she states, "Once, we were doing a scene in which a pillow di not fit the frame and I rearranged it. Unit members were quite puzzled over how a pillow's placement mattered, but Sanjay understood why. In fact, we saw the entire film in our heads, and knew when the magical moment would happen!"
Revealing that she was the "common link" between two perfectionists, SLB and co actor Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya states, "We had our tuning in place, since 'Dhoom 2', which was our first film together. For 'Guzaarish,' we had to pose a lot for the camera and it wasn't easy delivering in every frame."
