Aishwarya Rai continues being the highest taxpaying actress

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the highest taxpaying Bollywood actress. She paid a whopping Rs.1.8cr just as advance tax this year. The 37-year-old is also the only actress in the top eight, the other seven being male actors. The others in the list include Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Ranbir Kapoor.

Interestingly, Mrs.Bachchan ranked higher than her Paa, Amitabh Bachchan and husband Abhishek Bachchan. Quite an achievement being in a male-dominated industry!.
