Boney Kapoor and Mona Kapoor’s son Arjun Kapoor will make his debut in Bollywood with Yash Raj Films.
He has earlier worked as an assistant to Nikhil Advani’s Salaam-e-Ishq (2007), Kal Ho Na Ho (2003), Krishna Vamshi’s Shakti -The Power (2002) and also worked as an executive producer to his father Boney Kapoor’s project like No Entry (2009), Wanted (2009) and Milenge Milenge (2010).
Arjun’s new project will be launched in the early next year. YRF has kept the news under wrap and they will make the official announcement once everything gets finalized. Rafiq Gangjee, VP, marketing and communications, YRF admits, “Yes, Arjun Kapoor has been signed for a film with YRF.
We will be making an announcement of our forthcoming films in January when we will provide further details.”
Says Arjun’s mom, Mona, “I cannot say anything on this front now. Yash Raj Films will make a formal announcement.” Mona owns Future Studios, a shooting studio in Goregaon.
Arjun has a sister Anshula who is studying in the US. He once dated Salman Khan’s sister Arpita Khan.
