Aishwarya and Saif together in next movie!

A few days ago TOI reported that Kareena Kapoor was all set to replace Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s revived ambitious project Bajirao Mastani. Bhansali and Ash worked together in ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ in 1999.

A few days ago Filmmaker Vishal had approached the actress Aishwarya Rai to pair up with Saif for a film. If Ash agrees to the film with Saif this time, it will be interesting to see this new pair on screen. the acclaimed filmmaker has also approached her with two more scripts and one concept which is his take on William Shakespeare’s cult tragedy, Hamlet, for which he plans to cast Hrithik Roshan.
Director Sanjay Bhansali is very much upset now with his one time good friend Salman Khan. In fact, the director and the actor are engaged in a war of words. Salman is miffed with Bhansali presumably because the latter didn’t cast him in ‘Guzaarish’.
The actor claims that it was he who gifted Bhansali a DVD of Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Prestige’, which inspired the filmmaker to make ‘Guzaarish’ and the latter shifted to Hrithik and not cast him in the flick. Reportedly, at a charity event, when people asked him about ‘Guzaarish’, he was quick to add that the movie has been faring so badly that not even a mosquito or a dog would go for watching it. However, Bhansali regrets that such an old and trusted friend could be so insensitive.
Vishal was spotted entering Janak (Bachchans, usually, hold business meetings at this Juhu bungalow) with a script in hand. This has set the ball in motion. Said a source, “Vishal was indeed there to meet with Ash. It went on for an hour at least where they discussed and dissected the offers that he had for her. As of now things are very hush hush.”
