Aishwarya Rai Bachchan makes a point not to desire to go with with hubby: After getting part of the Bachchan clan, it seemed a little odd. But the way in which bahu Aishwarya Rai refused to work in the next movie of Vipul Shah. She simply said that she did not want to work opposite to her husband Abhishek Bachchan.

She has instead asked the filmmaker to cast her toughest competitor at present in the industry, Katrina Kaif, to work opposite to him. A source close to the development said that when Vipul spoke to Ash about the role she started thinking and then suggested that Katrina be cast instead of her.

This is not the first time though that such a stand has been taken by former beauty queen and a good actress. Earlier too she had refused to work opposite to Abhi during the flick, 'Dostana'. Then came 'Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey' and 'Game', where the same response was given and each time she came up with one or the other excuse.

But Vipul has tried to pacify the rumor and said that they are still in the discussion mode. Meanwhile, the couple was given a award for the 'India's No. 1 Power Couple' in Stardust.
