Yamla Pagla Deewana
has opened this Friday to rather surprising mix responses. The movie
which brings together the three Deol family men has not earned any rave
reviews from any critic. The multiplex audience has shunned the movie
almost. But those going to the still surviving single-screen audiences
have lapped up the movie big time.
Trend analysts believe it is the cause of watching Dharmendra in a yet another active performance which is attracting the rural and the lower class audience to the theatre halls. Yamla Pagla Deewana has even been compared to Dabangg’s success by some experts.
The lead actors of the movie, Sunny Deol and Dharmendra had said that if the movie is received well by the people, they will make a sequel. However, such a fate was not anticipated for the movie at all! It will take the Deol men some more time to figure out whether they can afford a sequel’s budget or not!
Dharmendra recently shared with media that his desire to a comedy had guided him to make this movie post Apne in 2007. If the movie does well all over India, people have some more desires for Dharmendra to fulfil. What’s that? To get on board his grandson in the sequel.
Dharmendra’s grandson, Karan, is set to make a entry in the filmdom, and it is expected, as in previous times, Dharmendra will do the honour.
