ADAG arm bags rights of Warner's home videos

Anil Ambani led ADAG has been appointed as the exclusive licensee of Warner Home Video for India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Now BMHE is able to distribute VCD, DVD, and Blu Ray products in these countries said the CEO Kulmeet Makkar.

It is said India posses a huge size of home video market more than Rs 7 billion.

Presence of piracy menace in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh is measured with 99 percent would be taken care through devising safeguarding the products, says the company.

Despite having world classics like 'Gone with the wind', 'Ben Hur' etc. also has catalogues from Turner Entertainment, Castle Rock Entertainment, HBO Home Video and New Line Home Entertainment.

The CEO added that forthcoming releases like "I am Legend", "10000 BC" would be released under home market videos.

The company already an exclusive authorize licensee of Universal Studios International to distribute their home entertainer products in India and its neighboring countries.
