Dr. Manmohan Singh watches Aamir’s Peepli [Live]…

It was just few days back that Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan showed his much appreciated production Peepli [Live] to the Bharatiya Janata Party leader L.K. Advani and the MNS chief Raj Thackeray and now the latest we hear is that the superstar flew to Delhi to screen the movie for Indian Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on Sunday evening.

An official at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said, Aamir Khan was present at the 7 Race Course Road residence of the prime minister for the screening. Senior officials were also invited for the movie, which deals with the issue of farmers’ suicides in a satirical manner.

Reports say Aamir was accompanied by the film’s director Anusha Rizvi and actors Raghuvir Yadav and Omkar Das Manikpuri at the screening.

Bebo refuses to lose weight for Karan Johar

Kareena Kapoor’s size zero is still chasing her. Recently, she has gained some weight but still carrying the tag of size zero. Buzz is that filmmaker Karan Johar wants Bebo to return to her size zero figure. Karan asked Kareena to lose weight for his next flick, titled, ‘Short Term Shaadi’ starring Imran Khan in the lead but Kareena is not ready to shed her flab for anyone.

Bebo added that she is happy with her current weight and won’t lose weight for anyone. She even added that Karan has not laid before her any such demand. It is also heard that not only weight but Karan wants Kareena to chop her hair also. But Kareena declines all such facts.

Many masaldar (spicy) news has been written about Shahrukh Khan and Farah Khan’s rivalry but Shahrukh put an end to all such speculation by declaring the entire world that he and Farah Khan are still friends. It was rumored that Farah Khan cast Akshay Kumar in her next film, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ after she had a fall out with Shahrukh Khan.

‘My friendship with all is as it was before, love them the same way. Many times if we are not working with each other doesn’t mean that I hate her or end of friendship. I don’t take my wife’s decision, how could I take others. I want to see everyone doing well.

‘When I am shooting with someone, I am more in touch with him. This time I am not in touch with Farah but wish her all the success and hope this film (‘Tees Maar Khan’) becomes a bigger hit than ‘Om Shanti Om’, which was her last film. I just hope she become even a bigger producer. Yes, she is a friend of mine. I am not doing a film with her, which doesn’t mean I don’t love her,’ said Shahrukh.

Deepika’s craze for Shahrukh

Deepika Padukone debuted with Shahrukh Khan in ‘Om Shanti Om’. Though she has climbed many stairs in her filmy career, she does not fill self sufficient. She wants some more of Shahrukh Khan, her first co-star. Shahrukh played an important part in shaping Deepika’s career. Being a first timer, it is always important that her co-stars should feel her relaxed and in this regard SRK helped her lot to make her comfortable when she first faced the camera for a film.

Sajid Nadiadwala is Katrina's Rakhi brother

Katrina Kaif has made producer Sajid Nadiadwala her Rakhi brother. She tied Rakhi on Sajid’s wrist on the set of ‘Tees Maar Khan’. A source narrated the incident, "It happened after Farah had tied a rakhi to Sajid Nadiadwala and her brother Sajid Khan in the van. Katrina, who was present there, suddenly stepped up and announced she wanted to tie a rakhi to Nadiadwala, as well”.

Reacting to the incident, Sajid quips, "I have known Katrina for six years and I am honored that Katrina has made me her brother. It's rare that we get a brother or sister by choice." Another interesting fact is that Sajid Nadiadwala is a very good friend of Kat’s ex-flame, Salman Khan. It was he who introduced her to Sajid.

Now that Kat has become Sajid’s rakhi sister, he has to think specially for her. Buzz is that he has promised one film to Katrina next year.

Robert Vadra walks for pal Ashish Soni

Entrepreneur Robert Vadra walked for his childhood designer friend Ashish Soni at the Van Heusen India Men's Week where the designer flaunted 70’s collection. The three day grand event comes to an end with Soni’s 70’s inspired collection. Vadra was seen seated with his son Raihan in the first row, clapping and cheering for Soni’s collection.

When asked what inspired Robert Vadra to walk the ramp for Soni, Vadra said, "I would like to believe so. It was an inspiring collection there. I don't attend many shows but I had to come for Ashish. He is such a talent. Given a choice I would love to buy every piece out there."

When asked whereabouts his wife, Priyanka, he said: "She is relaxing at home. She is not really interested in coming to fashion shows."

Vadra was a surprise guest of the event as he was not normally seen in fashion shows. His surprise entry shocked all and at the same time he stole all the limelight.

Esha Deol files case against Ram Gopal Varma

Bollywood actress Esha Deol has filed a case against filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. According to Esha, the director has not paid her the due amount which he has to pay for the film, ‘Darling’. After repeated reminders when Ram Gopal Varma did not pay her the due amount, she knocked the door of the court.

RGV is said to have not cleared the amount of Rs 13 lakh. One year back, Esha lodged a complaint in the Cine and TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) against the filmmaker but he did not respond. But later the case was taken to the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE).

On one hand, Varma is claiming that the case has been sorted out but on the other hand, Esha’s friend is saying that Esha is still fighting the case against the filmmaker. Bhushan Kumar, the producer of the film said that he has paid a huge amount to RGV and he was supposed to clear all the dues.

Dharmesh Tiwari, the President of FWICE and General Secretary of CINTAA confirm that Esha is fighting a case against Ramu.
