Is Freida Pinto really married?

Freida Pinto has been over the moon since Slumdog
Millionaire became a huge success. But there have been some big controversies
for her to handle too.There were several rumours doing the rounds that she
called off her engagement and dumped fiancé Rohan Antao after she shot to fame.
But now the big news is that Freida and Rohan actually had a secret wedding in
Goa in late December 2007 and the actress had her wedding gown made from a
designer in Lokhandwala.

Apparently Freida had told her close friends that she would be having a
secret wedding as she didn’t want too many people to know about it. She was with
him when she was shooting for the film but dumped him after it started making
waves everywhere around the world. Rohan apparently is in shock at being dumped
and is trying to deal with it.Meanwhile the 20 something actress says she would
get homesick when she had to travel all over to promote the movie.

But she would love to shift to New York and relax in Manhattan because she
can gather her thoughts there.She said, “There’s something about New York. It’s
quite a lot like Mumbai in many ways, but it’s not as organised as this city and
obviously not as cool as New York. Everyone keeps asking me why not LA, but the
thing is, I don’t want to feel really homesick. New York just feels like home.”
