Faisal publicly criticises Aamir Khan

The legal battle involving Aamir Khan and his
brother Faisal has come to a close, but Faisal is still bitter.At the
announcement of his upcoming film, Pyaar Se Kyun Darta Hai Dil, Faisal had a few
scathing remarks to make about his big brother’s talent and directorial
debut.“(Taare Zameen Par) is a very intellectual film,” says Faisal, “I asked
common people like the auto and taxi drivers whether they saw it, and they said
no. So I’m wondering who has seen that film. Maybe just a few intellectuals
have.

I don’t believe in intellectuals. I want the common
man to see my film. Faisal hasn’t finalised the star cast of his film yet.He is
reportedly on the hunt for a saleable actor. But when asked if he would consider
casting his brother, he became upset and referred to Aamir’s recent
light-hearted comment.“Aamir is into the numbers game,” says Faisal. “He says
he’s No 1, but he’s forgotten his numbers, because numbers start from zero.

So if wants to be the first number, he has to start
from zero. And I wouldn’t approach people who start from zero (for my film). I
consider myself a bad actor,” Faisal continues, “And people say my performance
in Mela was better than his. So that should show how good Aamir actually is.”
