Salman’s Veer faces action troubles

salman4

The drama on the sets of Salman Khan’s Veer
continues. In the past, an altercation between action-director Tinu
Verma and production- coordinator Deepak Anand was reported. Tinu beat
up Deepak, who took the matter to the Fight Masters Association. The
latest update from the sets is that Verma is no longer part of the
project. It is learnt that the cast and crew left for the London
schedule last night, without him. It is believed that Tinu’s constant
fights on the set and hassles with other unit members resulted in his
ouster. Says an insider, “Tinu never comes to the set on time; he also
throws a lot of attitude and tantrums. This hasn’t gone down too well
with director Anil Sharma and producer Vijay Gelani who wanted him out a
long time back, but the large-hearted Salman wanted to give him another
chance. When he didn’t change, they decided to let Tinu go.

Veer’s unit left for London last night while
Verma didn’t. However producer Vijay Gelani explained his absence with,
“We are not shooting any fight sequences in London so we don’t need Tinu.
There is no issue with him and the earlier matter has been resolved.”On
the other hand, when asked about the fracas with Deepak, Salman says, “I
only heard of these things when I got back (from campaigning)”. But when
asked if he knows Tinu is out of Veer Salman says, “I’m not aware of
it.” Director Anil Sharma toes the safe line, “In London, we will be
shooting with a local action director. We haven’t taken any decision on
the matter yet!” Tinu Verma sounded frustrated and offended when asked
why he didn’t accompany the crew to the location abroad. He went on an
abusive spree.

I’am sitting on the editing of the film!
Kaun hai yeh log? I want to know who is spreading such rumours about
me.”Refusing to answer the question about his ouster he kept insisting
we meet him in person, “You come and meet me. Only then will I talk to
you!”
