Malaika Arora Khan to endorse Zandu Balm

There comes a minor barrier in the path of ‘Dabangg’ success. The balm company had filed case against ‘Dabangg’ for the usage of the word Zandu Balm in the chartbuster ‘Munni Badnam Hui’ without their permission. Producer Arbaaz Khan has made an amicable settlement with the company out-of-court. Now, Malaika Arora Khan will be endorsing their brand Zandu Balm.

Confirming the same, Arbaaz said, "Yes...we've arrived at a mutual understanding with the makers of Zandu Balm. With the song gaining such huge popularity, we've now decided to come up with a special ad featuring Malaika promoting both our film Dabangg and their brand Zandu Balm. In addition, Malaika would also be endorsing the brand Zandu Balm individually in the future. Both parties didn't want to get into any sort of unnecessary legal hassles and felt that an out-of-court settlement was the best option."

"It's all been amicably sorted, out of court, thanks to ad-man Prahlad Kakkad. He knew both parties very well and initiated discussions", added Khan.

He added, "It was always a win-win situation for both sides. We will have tie-ups with their company. Malaika will be their brand ambassador." Incidentally, Kakkad is expected to shoot the first balm ad with Malaika.

’Dabangg’ became a blockbuster and the song ‘Munni Badnam Hui’ hit the chartbuster.
